Mr. Ken Chen currently serves as Senior Associate Vice President of the Supply Chain Headquarters at AUO Corporation. He is responsible for overseeing global supplier strategy, procurement resource integration, cost optimization, contract negotiation, and the development of sustainable sourcing. He also leads the company’s “Glocalization” strategy—localizing global supply chain operations—to strengthen value chain resilience and cost competitiveness. In addition, he actively promotes the adoption of AI tools and data analytics in procurement processes to enhance decision-making efficiency and supply risk management.
Mr. Ken Chen joined AUO in 2003 and has been with the company for 22 years. Over the course of his career, he has held key roles in R&D, Product Management, and Supply Chain Management, gaining hands-on experience across product design, customer engagement, market strategy, and supply chain operations. For the first nine years, he focused on panel design and development before transitioning to product management for six years, where he was responsible for product roadmaps, business management, and client relationships, serving major international brands such as Sony, Vizio, and Best Buy. Since 2018, he has taken on leadership roles in procurement, concentrating on supplier strategy, cost optimization, and global sourcing. He now plays a critical role in supporting the supply chain transformation across AUO’s business strategy on three pillars.
